The book tells of a man named John Taylor, a young man with a large and extremely powerful family in Utah. Upon his return to his city, he married, had sexual intercourse with her, and gave birth to his daughter, Leah.

John Taylor is famous among Latter-day Saints as being the “father of the Mormon” family, and at the time he was being taught such things. It was during this time, which is commonly called the “time of God,” that some of the early prophets and the members of the Church began to think about Joseph Smith and the Restoration. Many members of the Church began to speak about Joseph Smith as a father of the Church and LDS teachings on this topic.

However, when more members began to realize that Joseph was not the “father of the Mormon” family and how they believed in Joseph Smith, they began to feel very skeptical and skeptical about Joseph’s knowledge of scripture, especially the Book of Mormon. A young adult, named John Taylor, began to think that the LDS revelation that Joseph Smith and the Restoration had written up all of the scriptures
